Linton Colliery Play Park
Amount awarded: £45,000
Estimated total cost: £150,000
Upgrade of the current Linton play park to provide modern equipment which meets the needs of all ages and abilities.
Lynemouth Play Park
Amount awarded: £30,000
Estimated total cost: £100,000+
Funding ring-fenced with the aim of working with Lynemouth residents to create a play park fundraising group, and kick-start fundraising activity.
Lynemouth Miners’ Welfare Institute
Amount awarded: £10,000
Estimated total cost: £88,420
Improvements to the Institute building to make it more accessible and suitable for wider community use, including a lift to the upper floor.
Ellington Juniors – Multi User Games Area
Amount awarded: £54,464
Estimated total cost: £226,513
Creation of a floodlit multi-user-games- area, with an all-weather surface. This would be suitable for a wide range of sporting and exercise related activities, as well as other community uses.
